PHILIP T. RAYMOND, III is a Superior Court Judge in the Macon Judicial Circuit which serves Macon-Bibb, Crawford and Peach Counties. He was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal in 2012 and re-elected in 2014. He graduated in 1976 from the University of Georgia B.A. cum laude and received his J.D. from Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University in 1979.

He was in private practice from 1979 to his appointment in 2012 concentrating in the areas of Family Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Macon Bar Association and Master Emeritus of the William A. Bootle Inn of Court.

Judge Raymond was born in Columbus Georgia in 1953. He is married to his wife, Susan, and together they have three children Christina, Vincent and Alexandra.
